Work Conditioning
What is Work Conditioning?
Work conditioning programs are designed to improve a worker's ability to perform critical work tasks.
Our program provides a transition between acute care, rehabilitation and return to work by addressing the issues of safety, productivity, physical work tolerances and work behaviors. The object of the program is to restore the worker's physical capacity and function, so that he or she may return to work. Exercise, education, aerobic conditioning and simulated work tasks are utilized to progress the worker towards critical job demands. We pay careful attention to replicating the physical demands of the target job: the work pace, work load, proper body mechanics and proper use of safety equipment.
